SYNBIOCON 2026 is a first of its kind, IIT Bombay × IIT Kharagpur - led Pan-India conference focused on advancing awareness, learning, and collaboration in synthetic biology across the country. The conference brings together students, researchers, and professionals to explore how engineering principles can be applied to biological systems to address real-world challenges.
Through a combination of expert talks, hands-on learning, and project showcases, SYNBIOCON 2026 aims to strengthen the synthetic biology ecosystem in India and provide a platform for emerging ideas, skills, and innovations to gain national visibility.
Engaging talks by speakers from academia, industry, and startups, offering diverse perspectives on research, innovation, and real-world applications of synthetic biology.
A two-day, problem-driven workshop designed to introduce bioinformatics through practical tools, guided learning, and real biological datasets.
Presentations by finalist and winning iGEM teams, highlighting impactful synthetic biology projects, design approaches, and translational potential.
